Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Economic Skills Development Canada (ESDC) have recently been granted authority to conduct employer compliance reviews including, in some cases, onsite inspections. Fines may be levied, and bans imposed if employers are found to be non-compliant.
